Why I Built This One for Myself

I have ADHD. I know what it feels like to have a full day ahead of you and no idea where to start. Not because you are lazy. Because your brain cannot hold the whole picture at once.

I built the Adulting Board after I realized I needed it just as much as my kids needed their boards. The tasks that live in my head rent free. The appointments I forget to write down. The self-care that falls off when things get hard. All of it needed a place to live outside my brain.

When the plan is in front of me, I stop spinning. I start moving.

  • From Invisible Overwhelm

  • To a Plan You Can See

If this sounds like you… The Adulting Board helps because…
❌ You have ADHD and the mental load never fully clears ✅ The plan is visible so your brain doesn’t have to hold it
❌ Anxiety makes it hard to know where to start ✅ Breaking the day into sections makes it feel manageable
❌ You keep forgetting tasks that feel obvious to everyone else ✅ Reusable clings make the routine physical, not just mental
❌ A loved one with dementia struggles with daily independence ✅ Simple visual cues reduce confusion and support dignity
❌ You’re exhausted from starting over every single day ✅ A consistent visible routine reduces the decision fatigue

How It Works

Hang it where you will actually see it. Add clings for the things that need to happen today. Morning, daytime, evening. Move them as you go. The board holds the plan so your brain does not have to.

1. Choose Your Adulting Board

Routine Daily, Weekly Overview, or Monthly Calendar. Magnetic acrylic for the fridge or wall-mount hardware for a desk, kitchen, or entryway.

2. Add Your Clings

Self-care and relaxation. Necessary tasks. Work. Procrastination tasks. Spiritual growth. Market days. Remote work. Pick the sets that match your actual life right now.

3. Build Your Day

Morning. Daytime. Evening. Move clings as you complete tasks. Adjust when the day shifts. You do not have to start over.

4. Reset Each Day

Takes thirty seconds. Same board, new day, same calm.

How to Use It: SIMPLE

This board isn’t about doing more. It’s about making the invisible visible. When the plan is in front of you, your mind can rest.

Support your week by putting responsibilities in one clear place so nothing lives only in your head.
Include what actually matters right now. Keep it realistic. Keep it doable.
Model checking it daily and adjusting when life shifts instead of starting over.
Place it where you’ll see it during natural transitions (desk, kitchen, entryway).
Link it to small rewards or breaks so effort feels acknowledged.
Empower yourself to move forward with clarity instead of overwhelm.

Start simple. Keep this nearby for the first few weeks.

Adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, or anyone who struggles to hold the whole day in their head. Also used by caregivers for loved ones with dementia who benefit from simple, consistent visual cues.

The cling categories are built for adult life. Work, self-care, necessary tasks, procrastination tasks, spiritual growth, remote work, and more. The board is the same magnetic acrylic quality. The system is designed for the invisible load adults carry.

Families use it to help loved ones with dementia maintain a daily routine with less confusion and anxiety. The visual cues are simple, calm, and consistent. Exactly what helps when words and memory get harder.

Clings are sold separately so you can build the set that matches your actual life. Start with one or two sets and add more as you figure out what your day really needs.

You start again. That is the whole point. There is no streak to break. The board is just there, waiting. Pick it back up whenever you are ready.

Your Brain Is Not the Problem. It Just Needs a Different System.

Put the plan somewhere you can see it. Start there.
