Why Families Love It

  • 25 feeling posters that show what the body might feel, what a kid might need, and what to try
  • Energy labels (too slow, just right, too fast) that help kids match a feeling to what they notice in their body
  • Every “Try one of these” idea matches a cling from Name Your Feelings or Body Toolbox
  • Check Your Body, Words, Change the Thought and Emotion Check In posters for the moments in between
  • Designed for emotional check-ins at home, school, or therapy
  • Digital download, print as many copies as you need

Most kids can feel it before they can say it. A hot face, a tight chest, heavy arms. These posters start with what the body is telling them, then help them name the feeling and pick something to try. The kind of vocabulary that takes a meltdown and turns it into a conversation.

Pairs Well With

Digital File Use

  • This is a digital download. No physical product will be shipped.
  • You may print the file for personal use in your home or classroom.
  • Do not share, resell, or redistribute the files in any form.
  • For best results, print on high-quality paper or cardstock and laminate if desired.

How It Works

  1. Purchase and download. The PDF downloads will be sent to your email after checkout. You get three PDFs: Emotions, Supports, and About.
  2. Print. Print on 8.5 x 11 inch paper at home or at a local print shop. Choose “Actual size” so nothing shrinks. Print on cardstock for durability, or on regular paper if you plan to laminate. Print the bookmark at 100% and glue or laminate the front and back together, or print it double-sided.
  3. Display. Hang in the kid's bedroom, classroom, therapy office, or wherever emotional check-ins happen. Punch a hole in the corner and use a binder ring if you want to keep them together.

Pair this with your Name Your Feelings or Body Toolbox board and clings so the wall and the board say the same thing. The board lets kids point and select. The posters give them the vocabulary.
