Why Families Love It

  • Four color groups with the feelings inside each one
  • 29 tools kids can pick from, from wall push-ups to chew necklaces to a comfort spot
  • Each tool is worded as an action a kid can follow, with a color dot showing which group it helps
  • Built with therapists and OTs over many years for real classroom and therapy use
  • Works on the Visual Strategy Board or Blank Acrylic Board
  • Reusable static vinyl, no residue, no magnets, no torn paper

I built the first emotion regulation board after years of therapy where Beckham could tell you exactly what to do when he was calm and could not access any of it when he was not. Words leave when the nervous system takes over. A visual stays.

How It Works

  1. Set up the color groups. Place the four color group clings on your board.
  2. Add the tools. Place the tool clings underneath so your kid can pick what they need in the moment. The color dots show which group each tool helps.
  3. Clean when needed. If a cling stops sticking, just wipe it clean with a damp cloth. They keep their grip for years.

Put the board somewhere visible and low enough that a kid can reach it on their own.

Care for Clings

  • Use wet erase markers only. Dry erase markers can damage the printed surface over time.
  • If a cling stops sticking, it likely needs a quick clean. Dust and debris can collect on the back and prevent adhesion.
  • Wash gently in warm soapy water, rinse well, and let dry face down on a towel.
  • Avoid sharp objects when applying or removing clings to prevent tears or punctures.
